Leandro Gómez was a barrio of Montevideo .

Leandro Gómez, a Montevidean district of around six manzanas , was founded in 1888 by Francisco Piria . It was on Calle Industria , which connects Cerrito de la Victoria with Unión , southeast of Leandro Gómez . The former Plaza de Toros was located nearby .
