Living statues are models who, through clothing, make-up and motionless behavior, give the illusion that they are sculptures or mannequins . Occasionally, English terms are also used: Living Doll ("living doll") or Living Mannequin ("living mannequin").

Living statues belong to the performing arts and can be assigned to pantomime . You will be hired for street parties, opening ceremonies, anniversary celebrations, advertising and marketing campaigns. This art is also often used in the theater, for example in Marcel Marceau's mimodrama Don Juan . Doing the job requires a high level of concentration and self-control.
