Lebrón Brothers

The Lebrón Brothers , actually LeBrón Brothers, are a salsa group of Puerto Rican origin. They consist of the brothers José, Angel, "Frankie" Francisco and Pablo Lebrón. Her styles include Salsa, Guaguanco , Boogaloo and Latin Soul.

Career

The Lebron Brothers come from a family of musicians in Puerto Rico . They later emigrated to the United States and formed a band in Brooklyn , New York City in the late 1960s . The founding members Angel, José, Carlos, Frankie and Pablo formed the singing and rhythm part of the group. There were also alto and tenor saxophones, trumpets and timbales. Her first album in 1967 was "Psychedelic Goes Latin" and contained the hit single "Mala Suerte". The group had great success especially among the Hispanic and African American populations. In 1971 the album "The Brooklyn Bums" followed, the title of which was based on a Brooklyn baseball team. The hit "Apúrate" was released. The basis of their success was based on the combination of harmony and composition. The third album "Salsa y Control" also achieved high sales figures. In 1981 Pablo Lebron suffered a heart attack so that he had to retire from the music business. His brothers released the albums "Criollo" and 1996 "I believe" after this event.
