Lechia Lwów was a Polish sports and football club from the city ​​of Lwiw, now part of Ukraine (Polish Lwów , German Lemberg ). Lechia Lwów was the first Polish football club.

history

Before the start of the school year in August 1903, students from the Lviv grammar school founded the “Lechia” sports club. In 1919 Lechia Lwów was one of the founding members of the Polish Football Association PZPN . After the Second World War , Lechia Gdańsk took over the club colors and the name of the Lviv club. It existed from 1903 until its dissolution after the invasion of Soviet troops in September 1939 .
