Ledebur garden
The Ledebur Garden (Czech: Ledeburská zahrada ) is a historic palace garden in Prague's Lesser Town on a slope below Prague Castle . It was laid out in 1665 by Jan Václav z Kolowrat from the Kolowrat family after a palace was built here in 1601. In 1787 the palace and the garden were redesigned by the new owner Josef Krakovský z Kolowrat . In 1852, Count Adolf von Ledebur acquired the palace from the Bohemian branch of the family, after which both the palace and the garden were named.
The garden has an area of 0.18 hectares and consists of several terraces. At the bottom there is a sala terrena with a decoration from 1730, a fountain and a statue of Hercules. The individual terraces are connected by numerous stairs.
