Lee Eun-ku

Lee Eun-ku ( kor. 이은구 ; * around 1960 ) is a former badminton player from South Korea .

Career

Lee Eun-ku achieved his greatest success when he won bronze in doubles with Park Joo-bong at the Badminton World Championships in Copenhagen in 1983 . A year earlier, the two were already in the semi-finals of the All England , but lost there against Billy Gilliland and Dan Travers with 15: 6, 8:15 and 12:15. In 1982 Lee and Park also won the bronze medal at the Asian Games in men's doubles. Lee Eun-ku's only major tournament success dates from the 1981/1982 season, when he - once again with Park Joo-bong at his side - won the Denmark Open .
