Lee Marrs

Lee Marrs (born September 5, 1945 ) is an American cartoonist .

Marrs began her career in the 1960s while working as an assistant on Little Orphan Annie and Hi & Lois . She discovered the underground comix scene, founded the comic book distributor Alternative Features Service in 1971, and began working on her own series, Pudge, Girl Blimp . She is considered to be one of the founding figures of the collective Wimmen's Comix .
