Lee Yi Shyan

Lee Yi Shyan ( Chinese  李奕 賢 , Pinyin Lĭ Yìxián , born March 9, 1962 in Singapore ) is a Singaporean politician .

Life

He attended Maris Stella High School from 1975 to 1978 and then went to Hwa Chong Junior College before attending university from 1982 to 1986. In 1986 he graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering from the National University of Singapore . From 2001 to 2006 he was Chairman of the Singapore Chamber of Commerce TDB.

Since 2006 he has been a member of the People's Action Party in the Singapore Parliament . Since 2006 he has been in the government of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong Secretary of State ( Minister of State ) in the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI), since 2009 also in the "Ministry of labor" ( Ministry of Manpower , MOM).
