Teaching and research estate Kremesberg

The teaching and research estate Kremesberg is located in Kremesberg in the market town of Pottenstein in the Baden district in Lower Austria . The historical cattle barn of the agricultural economy Kremesberg of the Vetmeduni is a listed building . The estate is located in the market town of Pottenstein, right on the border with the town of Berndorf .

history

The administration building was built in 1907 with the master builder Oscar Fraunlob. The farm building on Kremesberg was built in 1908 for 252 head of cattle.

architecture

The elongated economic building has a central projectile and two side projections under crooked roofs. The eastern building was extended to an administration building with a four-axis gabled central projection on the eastern front. The ground floor with a stone plinth shows segmented arched windows with exposed brick crowns, the upper floor shows a half-timbered construction with plastered wall surfaces between the dark-stained wooden beams.
