Linenwebermarkt
The Leinewebermarkt is a city center festival in Bielefeld that has been held annually on the last or penultimate weekend in May since 1974. With over 400,000 visitors, it is the second largest city center festival in East Westphalia-Lippe after Libori . The festival activities, consisting of concerts of various musical styles, dance events, comedy, rides, street art and funfair , extend over the entire old town.
The name "Leinewebermarkt" is based on Bielefeld's past as a " Leineweberstadt ".
