Leipziger Schnellpressfabrik
The Leipziger Schnellpressenfabrik presented in the city of Leipzig Schnellpressen ago.

It emerged from the company "Schmiers, Werner & Stein" (SWS) at the beginning of the 20th century. SWS manufactured high- speed lithographic presses around 1900 .
The Leipziger Schnellpressenfabrik worked with Dr. Otto C. Strecker (offset preparations), with the Chr. Hoftmann-Steinberg'schen color factories (offset inks ) and with Krause & Baumann (offset chromopaper).
In 1907, after the invention of offset printing in the USA in 1904 by Ira W. Rubel and Caspar Hermann , the first German sheet-fed offset press “Triumph” was presented in a Leipzig shop. For this purpose, Caspar Hermann had converted a Harris sheet-fed press in the Leipziger Schnellpressenfabrik.
In 1924 the Leipziger Schnellpressenfabrik merged with the Dresdner Schnellpressenfabrik to form the Dresden-Leipziger Schnellpressenfabrik AG . "High-speed one-color and two-color offset presses, straight and reverse printing - offset presses, letterpress high-speed presses, two-speed high-speed presses and auto-platen printing presses" were produced.
