Performance class (forestry)

A performance class in forestry is an absolute benchmark for creditworthiness in forestry . Locations are classified in terms of their productivity for certain tree species.

The performance class N indicates the maximum average total growth (dGZ max ) of a tree species in the unit of measurement m³ / ha at the time of the culmination of the dGZ. The performance class is in the timber means determined using a yield table and the input variables canopy height and age.
