Meredith Deane

Meredith Deane (born August 9, 1989 in New York City , New York ) is an American actress . She became known for her role in the television series Again with Feeling (1999–2002).

Life

Meredith Deane was born in New York City in August 1989 . She had her first role at the age of ten as cousin Gina in the comedy Giving It Up . Also in 1999 she was cast as Zoe , the nine-year-old daughter of Elizabeth "Lily" Manning ( Sela Ward ), for the drama series Once Again With Feeling . She played this role from 1999 to the end of the series in 2002 and brought her not only greater fame, but also a Young Artist Award in 2001 together with Evan Rachel Wood and Julia Whelan in the category of outstanding cast in a television series . In 2000 she had a minor supporting role as the young version of Lily ( Elizabeth Perkins ) in the film drama for 28 days . After that, she took time off from acting and focused on school. She first attended the Dalton School on New York's Upper East Side , which she graduated in 2007. Before that, she had her last appearance so far in 2006 in the form of a guest role in the popular crime series Law & Order . After graduation, she was a freshman at Boston University and then moved to the University of Southern California in Los Angeles .
