Performance surcharge (miners' union)

In the miners' supply , the performance surcharge refers to additional remuneration points that an insured person receives for many years of constant work underground .

According to Section 85 SGB ​​VI, from the sixth full year onwards, the performance surcharge is 0.125 earnings points per year, 0.25 earnings points per year from the eleventh full year and 0.375 earnings points per year from the twentieth full year. The pay points are distributed evenly over the twelve months. Periods in which a (partial) disability pension is drawn are not taken into account.
