The Leland Corporation was an American manufacturer of various arcade games in the 1980s and early 1990s. Notable among these were Dragon's Lair II: Time Warp in 1991 (the long-awaited successor to the very successful Dragon's Lair from 1983) and Super Off-Road , which is an expansion and two sequels by Lelands with Off-Road Challenge and Offroad Thunder Successor Midway Games spawned. The company was formed when Tradewest appropriated Cinematronics in 1987 and was acquired by Williams Electronics Games (WMS) in 1994 . From then on, the Leland and Tradewest brands were discontinued, but the majority of the facilities and staff were still employed by WMS (later Midway Games).
