history

The road transport Celle town and country GmbH (KVC) was founded in 1927 by the Celle district and the town of Celle founded. In 1949, the OHE joined as a new partner , while the city of Celle had left as a partner. The traffic was operated on 20 lines with a length of over 470 kilometers. But there was still a special line service, especially for the disabled . The KVC route network extended to the entire northern district of Celle. The articulated buses with a capacity of well over 100 passengers are a special feature of the vehicle fleet . With 69 buses, KVC was the largest bus company in the Celle area. Local public transport in the southern or southeastern district was taken care of by Lembke, Koschick & Co. , whereby the dividing line between KVC and Lembke & Koschick was the Aller , which flows from southeast to northeast .

The Lembke & Koschick bus company was established after the Second World War on October 20, 1946 from a branch of A. & H. Reimers Autobus KG in Nienhagen , where Heinrich Lembke was previously the operator. The headquarters of Lembke, Koschick & Co. was at Braunschweiger Strasse 54 in Klein Eicklingen. The main base was in Celle.

Together with Jörg-Peter Oberg in Winsen (Aller) , the company has been purchasing articulated buses with the door arrangement VM-H (front, middle, rear) since the 1960s. Started with Mercedes-Benz O 317 with Ludewig bodies, this tradition ended in 1984 with two Kässbohrer Setra SG 180 S.

The Lembke & Koschick fleet was characterized by a dark orange-red color scheme, which was taken over from the previous company, Reimers. The company also performed in the greater Hanover area , in particular the few trips on line 927 ( Ehlershausen - Wathlingen ).

Lembke Koschick challenge cup
