history

Lenz & Staehelin from the merger of 1917 by Conrad Staehelin in 1991 Zurich based law firm Staehelin and in 1951 Geneva emerged based law firm of Raoul Lenz. Today Lenz & Staehelin has around 200 lawyers at its offices in Zurich, Geneva and Lausanne . Lenz & Staehelin mainly works in the area of commercial law.

The law firm became known to the general public in 2013 in the wake of the " offshore leaks " because it advised the German-Swiss industrial heir Gunter Sachs (1932–2011) on tax matters and was accused of concealing his assets.
