'Lenz' is a commercial potato that has been recognized by the Bundessortenamt since 2018 . It runs under the identification number 4283 and was first bred by Saatguthof Firlbeck in Atting . As of 2018, it is being cultivated across Germany on 1 hectare . The potato 'Lenz' is oval and is characterized by its light yellow flesh, as well as its yellow skin and medium depth of eye.
