Leofwine Godwinson
Leofwine Godwinson (* 1035 - 14 October 1066 at the Battle of Hastings ) was the son of Earl Godwin Wulfnothson of Wessex and brother of the brief English king Harold Godwinson . Among other things, he was the Earl of Kent .
Leofwine came from the most powerful noble family in Anglo-Saxon England. He died early in the Battle of Hastings , in which he led the left flank of the English army .
