Leoni Kingsbury
Leoni May Kingsbury (* in the 1st quarter of 1909 , † July 29, 1970 , married Leoni May , later Middlemost ) was an English badminton player . Her father Clarence Kingsbury was a British cyclist and two-time Olympic champion. Her sister Thelma was also a successful badminton player.
Career
Leoni Kingsbury won All England in women's doubles in 1932 with Marjorie Barrett . In the same year she also won the women's singles. In 1934 she was successful again in the individual. After the Second World War it started for South Africa.
