Let Me Stand Alone

Let Me Stand Alone is a book by Rachel Corrie . It was published by WW Norton & Company in 2008 after her death and consists of her texts, diaries and letters. Corrie was killed by an Israeli bulldozer in 2003 while trying to protect a Palestinian home.

The book describes how a young girl from a privileged life in Olympia (Washington) travels to the Gaza Strip , but has a broader focus on timeless topics such as how young people can find their place in the world, the effects of actions on others, and humanity .
