Levon Thomas
Levon Thomas (born March 26, 1955 ) is a German lyricist, music producer and composer.
Musical career
Levon Thomas' first professional lyrics were published on Santiago's 1979 album Walking The Voodoo Nights ( EMI ). The album, mixed by Humberto Gatica, was awarded the German Record Prize in 1980. In the following years Levon Thomas was involved in numerous productions at EMI in Cologne and wrote texts for artists such as Bogart, Jane Palmer, Liane Lee, Earforce, Wolf Maahn, Page One, Playing Games and others.
In 1983 Levon Thomas met the Spanish singer Miguel Ríos (Song Of Joy), whose title Antinuclear is based on a text by Levon Thomas. The accompanying album 'El Rock De Una Noche De Verano' (Polydor) reached platinum status and was No. 1 in Spain and South America.
1984 recorded the project Band Of Gold , on which Levon Thomas together with the composer, producer and keyboardist Paco Saval (Santiago, Food Band, Wolf Maahn, Soulcats) and the English keyboardist and producer Pete Wingfield (Everly Brothers, Westernhagen , Paul McCartney , Five Star, Alison Moyet) was involved, for weeks in the American Billboard Top 100. The singles Lovesongs Are Back Again and In Love Again (RCA) were also in the Top 10 of the Billboard Black Music Charts and were represented in the charts worldwide in Holland and England Top 20 places and No. 1 status in Central and South America.
Levon Thomas and Trapp have been a composer and producer team since 1994. Levon Thomas has worked as a copywriter on numerous productions.
