Lew Kirton

Lew Kirton (* in Barbados ) was the drummer for the Sam & Dave Revue from 1969 before joining the Invitations in 1972 . At the end of the 1970s, Kirton started a solo career and created two modern soul classics, "Heaven In The Afternoon" (1978) and "Talk To Me" (1983) , which enjoyed a large fan base, especially in England.

After it became musically quiet in the 1990s, he returned in 2004 with the album "Forever".
