Li Ang

Li Ang , 李昂, (born September 1, 1981 in Beijing , People's Republic of China ) is a Chinese go professional.

He is currently the third professional dan in China. He is the head coach of the Beijing youth go team . Over time, he has taught hundreds of young Go players, including Chen Yaoye (ninth professional dan) and about 20 other young professionals. Together with his sister Li Yue , he has published 28 gobooks. Since 2004 he has been teaching on the Kiseido Go server to promote Go and make new friends. His nickname on KGS is lyonweiqi . He has also given lessons in Spain, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
