Li Fang (badminton)
Li Fang ( Chinese 李 方 , * 1956 ) is a former badminton player from the People's Republic of China .
Career
Li Fang was one of the most important Chinese badminton players of the 1970s. During this time there was still a strict separation between the China-related world association WBF and the much larger association IBF, so that Li Fang could only rarely compete with the sizes of the other association. In 1979 she became the world champion of this less important world association WBF in women's doubles with Zhang Ailing . In 1978 she also won gold at the Asian Games in the women's team.
