Liang Qiuxia
Liang Qiuxia ( Chinese 梁秋霞 , W.-G. Liang Chiu Hsia , born September 9, 1950 in Cirebon ) is a former Chinese badminton player of Indonesian origin. Tjun Tjun (Liang Chunsheng) is her brother.
Career
Liang Qiuxia was one of the most important Chinese badminton players of the 1970s. During this time there was still a strict separation between the China-related world association WBF and the much larger association IBF, so that Liang Qiuxia could only rarely compete with the sizes of the other association. In 1974 she won silver at the Asian Games in women's singles and gold in doubles with Cheng Huiming . In 1976 she was Asian champion, and in 1978 she won again at the Asian Games in women's singles.
After her active career she became a trainer and looked after Susi Susanti on the Indonesian national team .
