Li Hongchen (born October 29, 1975 in Harbin ) is a Chinese curler and curling trainer. He was the lead of the Chinese national team and a member of the Harbin Curling Club .
Career
As a player, he won the 2009 Pacific Championship as a lead under Skip Wang Fengchun .
In February 2010, Li took part in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver (Canada) as a member of the Chinese team . The team took eighth place.
As a coach, Li looks after the Chinese national teams for men and women as well as the wheelchair team at international competitions. At the Junior Pacific Championships , he led the women's team once (2007) and the men's team three times (2008, 2009 and 2011) to win the Junior Pacific Championship. His greatest successes as a coach were the men's gold medals at the 2012, 2013 and 2014 Pacific Asian Championships, and a bronze medal in 2015.
