Liang Xiaomu

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Liang Xiaomu ( Chinese  梁小牧 ; * 1943 ) is a Chinese badminton player .

Career

Liang Xiaomu won the Chinese national title in both women's singles and doubles in 1963. China, at that time in badminton internationally still in the self-chosen isolation, made its first tentative attempts in the 1960s to force the sporting competition with foreign countries. So in 1963 there was also a country comparison with Indonesia, whereby Liang Xiaomu defeated the reigning Asian game winner Minarni and was able to hint at the potential of the Chinese badminton sport during this time.
