Yemaotai Liao Tombs

Coordinates: 42 ° 19 '3 "  N , 122 ° 52' 35"  O The Liao Tombs of Yemaotai or Kitan -Gräber of Yemaotai ( Chinese  叶茂台辽墓 , Pinyin Yèmàotái Liáomù ) in the large village Yemaotai the circle Faku the province Liaoning , China, were excavated in 1974. They contained 300 grave goods: silk pictures, silk fabrics, porcelain, lacquerware and other cultural goods. The silk pictures and lacquerware were all made in the central areas of China.

The graves have been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (5-156) since 2001 .
