Libri Picturati
The Libri Picturati are an inventory group of the manuscript department of the Berlin State Library . This is the inventory of occidental illuminated manuscripts without longer text.
These include a .:
- A 16–31: Botanical illustrations by Charles de Saint-Omer, dit de Morbecque ; Notes by Carolus Clusius
- A 32–35: Theatrum rerum naturalium Brasiliae
- A 36–37: Libri Principis , volumes with watercolors and sketches, probably by Georg Marggraf
- A 38: Miscellanea Cleyeri , after Andreas Cleyer
- A 74: Sketchbook by Jacques Daliwe
During the Second World War, these Libri Picturati were partially outsourced and disappeared. It was not until many years after the end of the war that it became known that these volumes were in the Jagiellonian Library in Krakow (A 2–4, 14–39, 44 (perhaps lost during the war), 53, 55, 59, 60, 67, 68, 76, 85 , 87, 88, 99, 102).
