Tilo Brandis (Librarian)

Tilo Brandis (born January 21, 1935 in Hamburg ) is a German librarian and Mediaevist .

He was born in 1964 at the University of Hamburg with the dissertation Der Harder. PhDs in texts and studies . He then went to the library service and headed the manuscript department of the Berlin State Library from 1973 until his retirement in 2000 , where he mainly dealt with medieval manuscripts and autograph legacies from the modern era.
