UAB Libros holdingas ( Libra ) is a Lithuanian group of companies that is particularly active in the wood and furniture industry. The wood processing company exports 90 percent of products for the furniture industry to Germany, Japan , the USA , Sweden , Norway and other countries. In 2005 it employed around two thousand people and achieved sales of 280 million litas (81 million euros). "Libra" has a sawmill in Kaliningrad with 300 workers. In 2004 the "Libra" owners sold a 21.18% stake for 8.7 million Lt to a strategic investor from Norway, a former manager of the media and industrial group "Orkla".
