Light pole trailer

Light pole trailer of the THW

The light mast trailer (short: FwA-Lima or at THW: Anh LiMa ) is a resource of fire brigades and the lighting department (type A) of the THW . In some places, the fire brigade has also procured such a device in the form of a small van or trailer. It enables emergency areas to be quickly illuminated and other emergency services to be supplied with power.

The light pole trailer has a 20 kVA generator and six halogen or metal halide headlights, each with at least 1000 watts of power. These are attached to a 10 meter long light pole, which can even be operated during storms below wind force 12. Compared to the large lighting device of the FGr lighting type B, the light pole trailer is ready for operation faster, but has a lower output.
