Liddington Castle is a hilltop hill fort in the parish of Liddington in the Borough of Swindon, England .

The moat and rampart of the approximately 3 hectare complex probably date from the Iron Age and are clearly visible. The entrance is in the east.

With a height of 275 m, the place is the largest elevation in the Borough of Swindon . A few hundred meters north, The Ridgeway runs in a west-east direction.

Excavations were carried out by Susan Hirst and Philip Rahtz in 1976. There was no evidence of the legendary Battle of Badon .
