Love songs (bouquet)

Liebeslieder is a waltz by Johann Strauss Sohn (op.114). The work was performed for the first time on June 18, 1852 in the Volksgarten in Vienna.

Remarks

The waltz was announced under the title love poems and premiered under the name love serenade . It was only in the print version that it was given the name love songs . It was enthusiastically received and has remained on the concert programs to this day. The waltz is considered to be one of the composer's first great masterpieces.

The playing time on the CD listed under individual records is 7 minutes and 10 seconds. Depending on the musical conception of the conductor, this time can change by up to a minute plus or minus.
