Medial palpebral ligament
The medial palpebral ligament (inner lid ligament) is a ligament in the area of the eye socket . The inner ligament arises from the eyelid framework ( tarsus palpebrae ). Its front leg is at the lacrimal anterior of the frontal process of the maxilla to be back side of the lacrimal posterior of the lacrimal bone . Both legs surround the lacrimal sac located in the sacci lacrimal fossa . The pars palpebralis of the orbicularis oculi muscle arises from the inner ligament .
