Lil 'Chris (born August 26, 1990 in Lowestoft , Suffolk , † March 23, 2015 ibid), actually Christopher James Hardman , was a British pop singer and television actor.

Live and act

His career began in 2006 with four episodes of the series Rock School on the side of the Kiss singer Gene Simmons . The then fifteen-year-old landed a top ten hit that same year with the song Check It Out and reached number three in the UK singles charts.

Further participation in series and the release of further singles followed later. In 2008 his last album was released under the title What's It All About . That same year he had his own television series called " Everybody Loves Lil Chris ".

Lil 'Chris was an ambassador for World Vision International .

Suffering from depression, the singer died on March 23, 2015 at the age of 24. He had committed suicide by hanging and was found by a friend. The reasons for his severe depression and suicide lay in the later unsuccessfulness as a singer and actor.
