Lili Wilkinson
Lili Wilkinson (born April 7, 1981 in Melbourne ) is an Australian writer who mainly publishes youth literature.
Life
Wilkinson attended Spensley Street Primary School and Mac.Robertson Girls' High School . She lived as an English teacher in Japan for six months before completing her studies in Creative Arts at the University of Melbourne .
She has been making up stories since she was six, and some have been published. According to her, her first publication took place at the age of eleven. She writes for various magazines, including The Age , and works at the Center for Youth Literature at the State Library of Victoria . She is the daughter of the writer Carole Wilkinson . Wilkinson lives in Melbourne.
