Lilo Kunkel

Lilo Kunkel (* 1975 in Karlstadt ) is a German organist and musicologist.

Life

Lilo Kunkel studied church music (A) and music theory with Zsolt Gárdonyi and Hermann Beyer at the University of Music in Würzburg . In 2003 she did her doctorate with Ulrich Konrad on the piano songs of Max Reger .

She teaches as a full-time lecturer in music theory at the Würzburg University of Music. At the JazzIbb, which takes place in Ibbenbüren churches during the summer holidays , she repeatedly held workshops on the subject of “Jazz on the church organ”.
