The half-timbered house Limburger Strasse 13 in Hasselbach is a listed building .

The half-timbered house is the residential building of a courtyard. Originally (see picture from 1921) the gable house was supplemented with an adjoining eaves gate. The extension fell to the city fire of 17/18. August 1926, which also affected the main building. According to the inscription panels that have been preserved, the Kurtriersche mayor Johann Wilhelm Rodt (1667 – approx. 1680) was the client. The house was built according to the inscription in 1678.

Both parts of the house were solidly bricked and plastered on the ground floor. The upper floor is built in half-timbered construction. The decorative framework was laid out symmetrically . As part of the renovation after the fire, an extension was built on the right-hand side, which today disrupts this symmetry. Originally there was a fire ram under the ridge . The upper floor has the original Franconian bay window with rich carvings and decorated parapet panels.

The two inscription panels (one in Latin and one in German) express the hope that the house will be spared from fire.

"When Got
does not give the house
his favor,
people's work is free,
this house is
in God's hands - Got bew
ar es for Fewer and Brand"

- German inscription

In the 1980s, the house was used as a pub by the owners, the Hartmann family, under the name Lancelot. It has been empty for 20 years since the mid-1990s. In 2016, the new owners opened the Lancelot vinotheque in the vaulted cellar in 1688 .
