Lin Yilin

Lin Yilin (* 1964 in Guangzhou ) is a Chinese artist.

He studied at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and now lives in Guangzhou and New York. In 1991 he founded the artist group Big tail elephant with Chen Shaoxiong and Liang Juhui . As part of the Mahjong exhibition , his works were on view at the Kunstmuseum Bern , the Hamburger Kunsthalle and the Museum der Moderne Salzburg . His video work Safely Manoevering Across Lin-He-Road from 1995 was shown at documenta 12 in 2007 .
