Lincoln Center Festival

The Lincoln Center Festival is a large three-week cultural festival in the USA , at which works and performances by the most renowned contemporary artists from all over the world - some of them premiered - are presented annually. It takes place on the premises of the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City and was considered one of the leading festivals of its kind early on. The summer event covers areas such as theater, ballet, dance, opera and circus and took place for the first time in 1967.
