Lindeteves-Jacoberg
Lindeteves-Jacoberg Limited is a holding company for several companies that sell electric motors. The company was founded in 1947 and is based in Singapore. Since 2006 the company has been part of the Austrian ATB Group as a subgroup . The company is listed on the Singapore Exchange .
In 2011 the following subsidiaries belonged to the Lindeteves-Jacoberg-Group:
- Brook Crompton UK Ltd., UK
- Brook Crompton Motor Inc., USA
- Brook Crompton Ltd., Canada
- Brook Motors International Pte Ltd, Singapore
- Western Electric Asia Pte Ltd, Singapore
In 2011 the group achieved sales of around 52 million Singapore dollars (SGD) .
The company originally comprised the business areas of electric motor production and sales as well as power generation. In 2004, two British plants were closed or downsized and production relocated to Poland and China. However, this restructuring was associated with high costs and also led to a drop in sales. The liquidity problems that occurred were resolved by the entry of ATB in 2006 and a debt restructuring.
In 2010 all production facilities such as Tamel (Poland) and Schorch (Germany) were sold to the ATB Group, so that the Lindeteves-Jacoberg Group is only active in the field of distribution of electric motors.
In 2016, Lindeteves-Jacoberg was renamed Brook Crompton Holdings.
