Lineapelle
The Lineapelle is an international trade fair for leather goods , accessories and plastic articles in Italy and is considered to be particularly trend-setting in the industry for future fashion trends. The Lineapelle has a long tradition in the fashion industry and attracts the attention of visitors from all over the world and from the most important companies involved in the production of shoes and leather goods. It has a total area of around 50,000 m² on which around 1500 companies from over 50 countries are exhibiting.
The first exhibition was in Milan in 1981 . Since 1986 the trade fair has been held every six months, in spring and autumn, at the BolognaFiere exhibition center in Bologna . The exhibition is organized by Lineapelle SpA, founded in 1980 and based in Milan. The fair is only open to trade visitors. The main exhibition sectors of the Lineapelle are: leather, synthetic products, model accessories and individual parts for footwear (soles, heels, metal accessories), leather goods, leather clothing and leather furniture.

- Visitor structure October 2012: 19,132 trade visitors from 90 countries. Manufacturer of shoes, leather goods, leather clothing and leather furniture.
- Exhibitor structure October 2012: 1,235 manufacturers used the fair as a presentation platform. With their offer, the exhibitors occupied a total net area of 40,651 m². At the previous fair in April, 1,047 exhibitors from 41 countries were represented.
