Ling (Zhou King)
Ling , King of Zhou ( Chinese 周 靈王 / 周 灵王 , Pinyin Zhōu Líng wáng;? - 545 BC) or Ling, King of Chou ( Wade-Giles ) was a ruler of the Chinese Zhou dynasty : the eleventh of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty . His personal name was Ji Xiexin (姬 泄 心). He climbed in 571 BC. The throne in Luoyi (Luoyang, Henan ) and ruled until 545 BC. During his reign, Confucius was born in the state of Lu (551 BC).
