Lino Miguel

Lino Dias Miguel (* in Almada de Ouro, Azinhal , Castro Marim ) is a former Portuguese general in the air force and politician .

Life

After attending school, Miguel completed training as an officer in the Air Force (Força Aérea Portuguesa) and found employment as a pilot in various units.

On August 27, 1976, Colonel Miguel became ministerial representative of the government in the Madeira Autonomous Region (Ministro da República para a Região Autónoma da Madeira) . He has held this position for more than 15 years, until 31 October 1991. During this time he was on February 6, 1981 Brigadier General and July 2, 1986 to the General transported.

For his many years of service, he was awarded the Grand Cross of the Ordem Militar de Cristo and the Knight's Cross of the Knightly Order of Avis .
