Linying

Linying ( Chinese  臨潁縣  /  临颍县 , Pinyin Línyǐng Xiàn ) is a district in the Henan Province of the People's Republic of China , which belongs to the administrative area of ​​the prefecture-level city of Luohe . Linying has an area of ​​821 km² and has about 710,000 inhabitants. Its main town is the large community of Chengguan (城關 鎮 / 城关 镇).

Administrative structure

At the community level, the district is made up of nine large communities and six communities . These are:

Culture

The Xiaoshang Bridge (小 商 桥, Xiǎoshāng Qiáo) as well as the Shoushan steles and Shoushan platform (受禅 碑 与 受禅 台, Shòushànbēi yǔ Shòushàntái) are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China .

Maoism

The village of Nanjie , the so-called “last Maoist village” in China, belongs to the Chengguan community .
