Wuyang
Wuyang ( Chinese 舞陽縣 / 舞阳县 , Pinyin Wǔyáng Xiàn ) is a district in the Henan Province of the People's Republic of China , which belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture -level city of Luohe . Wuyang has an area of 776 km² and about 610,000 inhabitants. Its main town is the large municipality of Wuquan (舞 泉鎮 / 舞 泉镇).
The Neolithic Jiahu site ( Chinese 賈湖 遺址 / 贾湖 遗址 , Pinyin Jiǎhú Yízhǐ ) of the Peiligang culture has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (5-65) since 2001 .
