Lions skirt

Lions Rock is a safari park for big cats in the South African province of Free State , 18 km from the town of Bethlehem removed. In enclosures with a total area of ​​56  hectares , mainly lions, but also tigers, leopards, cheetahs, lynxes, servals, hyenas and wild dogs are kept there. In mid-2019, there were 112 animals, which, according to the operator, had often previously been kept under poor conditions. Lionsrock, on the other hand, offers a species-appropriate home.

The facility was founded in 2007 by Vier Pfoten and initially served to house ten lions from the Gänserndorf closed safari park . It has a total of 1250 hectares and is financed by tourism and donations.
