Lire (magazine)

Lire is one of the leading French literary magazines . Jean-Louis Servan-Schreiber and Bernard Pivot founded it in 1975. The circulation in 2011 was almost 70,000 copies. The title is owned by the media company Groupe Express-Roularta , which publishes L'Express . The articles in the printed Lire edition are published in the culture section of the L'Express website. In the December edition, the editors select what they consider to be the best books of the year.
